I started working in the recovery field in 2014, getting my foot in the door as a live-in house parent, moving my way into an entry level support staff position and growing to where I am today as the Operations Manager. Having my own experience being in Recovery, I knew I wanted a career with purpose to which I had passion for and I found that here at True Recovery.
Every day I get to do what I love and be a part of the journey of growth, self-love, self-discovery and sobriety. Something that I find essential for successful recovery is building a strong foundation from the very beginning. Being in treatment allows individuals to have support and accountability while receiving therapeutic care and assistance in rebuilding their lives while learning to reintegrate back into society.
It also allows individuals to have the opportunity to be introduced to other help groups whether that be AA or alternative options to help sustain life long recovery when they graduate from treatment.
