Hannah Baris started working in the recovery field in 2014, first as a live-in house parent, moving her way into an entry-level support staff position. Hannah then started as True Recovery’s Operations Manager, growing to where she is today as the True Recovery’s Program Coordinator. Having her own experience being in Recovery, she knew she wanted a career with a purpose to which she had passion for and she found that here at True Recovery.

About Hannah Baris
Hannah has worked at True Recovery since 2015 because she believes in the work we do here. Here at True Recovery, Hannah gets to do what she loves while being surrounded by incredible and talented coworkers. When not at True Recovery, Hannah enjoys laying out by the pool, spending time with those she loves, eating food, and binge-watching crime mysteries on Netflix!
Why did you choose to work at True Recovery?
“Every day I get to do what I love and be a part of the journey of growth, self-love, self-discovery and sobriety. Something that I find essential for successful recovery is building a strong foundation from the very beginning. Being in treatment allows individuals to have support and accountability while receiving therapeutic care and assistance in rebuilding their lives while learning to reintegrate back into society.
It also allows individuals to have the opportunity to be introduced to other help groups whether that be AA or alternative options to help sustain life long recovery when they graduate from treatment.” – Hannah
