True Recovery has been accredited by a multitude of organizations, including independent non-profits, with the goal of addiction treatment for all. Below are some of the accreditations and certifications held by True Recovery.
The Joint Comission
True Recovery is one of the country's few behavioral health programs that have earned the prestigious JCAHO accreditation (1). The Joint Commission is the oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body for health care in the United States and evaluates approximately 21,000 facilities a year, and gives their accreditation to those they see worthy of it (2).
In order to earn this accreditation, True Recovery underwent an on-site survey by members of the Joint Commission survey team, who will continue to survey our facility every three years in order to maintain this prestigious accreditation (1)(2).
True Recovery is a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), a professional membership associated with addiction treatment providers (3)(4). The mission of NAATP is to provide leadership, advocacy, training, and member support services to ensure the availability and highest quality of addiction treatment (5).
Department of Health Care Services
True Recovery is partnered with the Department of Health Care Services in order to provide the highest quality addiction treatment programs possible (1). The California Department of Health Care Services mission is to provide high-quality healthcare, including substance use treatment services, for all Californians (1).
